Covenant Psychology

Covenant Psychology is a new framework for understanding the mind and soul, built not on symptom labels but on the biblical reality of covenant. It sees trauma, disorder, and compulsion as distortions of covenant that can be restored through truth, renewal, and healing. By uniting terrain medicine with soulcraft, it replaces modern psychology with a living system that restores wholeness instead of managing fragments.

Our Central Premise

Man is not defined by libido or the subconscious—he is, at his core, a worshiping being. Every life is directed either toward Yahweh or toward idols, and when the heart clings to anything less than the Divine, pathology follows. Covenant Psychology restores the heart of man to true worship, reordering soul and mind in alignment with the Creator. Discover more in our flagship book.

What this is
Covenant Psychology is week-by-week soul care that brings your interior life back into alignment with Yahweh’s covenant rather than leaving you to manage symptoms alone. We treat the person as a living covenant partner—mind, heart, will, imagination, and conscience—called out of fragmentation into communion. Sessions are invitational but exacting: we identify where the false self still drives the week and establish rhythms that rehearse death-to-self and resurrection life in ordinary time.

How a weekly session works
We begin with a short review of your last seven days: what gave life, what drained it, where you chose avoidance, and where grace surprised you. We locate your present “stage” on our genealogical ladder (e.g., hiding like Adam, striving like Jacob, grieving like Joseph) and translate that into a concrete, livable rule for the coming week. Expect brief practices that fit your real schedule—prayer forms, confession or reconciliation steps, time-bound media fasts, breath and presence drills, sleep and light anchors, Scripture meditations keyed to your stage, and one difficult conversation approached with honor. Each session ends with two specific commitments and a simple way you’ll report back next week.

Why it helps
Weekly cadence turns conviction into craft. Instead of chasing breakthroughs and losing them, you build covenant muscle memory—small, repeatable acts that re-train attention, purify motive, steady emotion, and restore truthful imagination. Because the telos is communion (not mere comfort), changes stick: anxiety loses its script, anger finds righteous boundary, shame is named and disarmed, and desire is re-ordered toward love.

What you receive

  • A 50-minute weekly session focused on near-term traction

  • A one-page Weekly Rule (your two commitments, daily rhythms, Scripture anchors)

  • Micro-exams of conscience tailored to your stage (5 minutes, morning or evening)

  • Short mid-week check-in prompts to keep you faithful to the plan

  • Optional coordination with your CMFT or Covenant Psychiatrist when useful

Who this is for
Seekers and saints who want a steady, sacred training ground: men and women rebuilding after crisis; couples or singles confronting patterns that won’t yield to willpower; leaders who must carry weight without losing their soul; anyone hungry for a psychology that honors Scripture and produces real, lived holiness week by week.
